1 Litre of Tears

the title itself shows how much u'll cry for it, u know. the best story ever, as nik puts it (:yepp, stuju gilak sama kau nik. the one && only story that can makes u cry endlessly like a flowing river from the very beginning till the end [11 episodes marathon in 2 days && we cry A LOT, to tell u the truth. no lies.huhu] it is so true that it touches ur heart deep inside (: no other movie/drama can beat this. it is based on a true story, anyway. i can't imagine how the real person with err...spinocerebellar degeneration disease go thru her/his life with such courage. [yess nik, i can spell & pronounce the disease without twisting my tongue :P!] 

This beautifully moving drama is based on the real-life struggles of a 15-year-old girl named Aya who suffered from an incurable disease, but lived life to the fullest until her death at 25. The script is based on the diary Aya kept writing until she could no longer hold a pen. The book that later followed entitled “One Litre of Tears" has sold over 1.1 million copies in Japan alone.

Fifteen year old Ikeuchi Aya was just a normal girl, soon to be high school student and daughter of a family who works at a shop that makes tofu. As time passed, unusual things started happening to Aya lately. She started falling down often and walks in a strange way. Her mother Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration - a terrible disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. A cruel disease, as it does not affect the mind in the least. How will Aya react when told about her disease? And how will Aya live from now on?

the last 2 episodes is the part where almost everyone cry endlessly,,heheh. the flashback thingy, the last day of aya's life, how she suffers, makes us again. heheh :P the worst part of all,for sure the ending :PP we shed lots,lots,lots && lots of tears! huuuuu tatahan weyhhh. lucky us, tade klas pgi2 sok. heheh :P smpat kot nk surutkn bengkak2 neh. hahaaa xD u guys should watch this drama [if u haven't watch it yet la kan. heheh :P] serius sedeyyy gilegile :( sab yg tgk sparuh2 pn bole beranak sungai ngan air mata taw! hehehe :PP
